Lemon Blueberry English Scones

The sun is shining, the weather is warming up, and that can only mean one thing- summer is here! One of my favorite things about the summer season is all the fresh berry picking at the local pick your own farms. When my husband and I were living in Charleston, we had a family run blueberry farm nearby and we would go and pick buckets and buckets of the best fresh blueberries we've ever tasted. It was always so much fun and we would come home to make all kinds of things with them- muffins, pancakes, waffles, parfaits, smoothies, anything we could come up with! One thing we had never tried to make with blueberries before was scones. It wasn't until we moved to England that we had our first taste of them at a tearoom, and now we're hooked! Anytime we have family or friends come to stay with us, we whip up a batch of these delicious scones for everyone to enjoy! These are particularly decadent with clotted cream, strawberry jam and a nice cup of tea!
